What's Changed From the Workplace Insight Tool (WIT)?
Elevate builds on everything you know from the Workplace Insight Tool (WIT), with a simpler, more guided way to explore, share and act on your survey results. If you have used WIT before, this article shows you what has stayed the same, what has improved and where to find things now.
In short, your survey and results are the same, but you no longer have to do everything yourself. Elevate lets you share results directly with senior leaders and people managers, so they can explore their own data and take ownership of their action plans, while you stay in control of who sees what.
Still using WIT? There are no plans to retire WIT at the moment. If you would still like to use it, contact our Support team and we will arrange access where appropriate.
What stays the same
- The b-Heard survey and the same 8-factor methodology.
- Your Best Companies Index (BCI) score and company accreditation.
- Organisation and team BCI scores and insights.
- Data packs and action planning packs.
- The 1+3 approach: celebrate 1 thing, focus on 3 areas to improve.
- All 8 factors are still visible. At team level, Leadership, My Manager and Fair Deal are not offered as 1+3 priorities because team members cannot directly change them, but they still appear in Remaining Factors and the data pack.
- Your plan and its cost. Elevate is included at no extra cost.

What this means for you as an HR admin or project manager
- Less chasing. Managers can see their own results, so you no longer need to send packs to every team or sit with every manager.
- More control. You decide who has access and can review the data before it is released.
- Better visibility. You can track how results are being shared across the organisation.
- One place for action. Action plans and commitments live in Elevate, so it is easier to keep people on track.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to pay for Elevate?
No. Elevate is included in your existing plan at no extra cost if you are already subscribed to Workplace Insights or People Leader Insights plan.
Can I still get my data packs?
Yes. Data packs and action planning packs are still available, and invite your leaders to access them directly from Elevate or download via the platform.
Will my previous survey results be in Elevate?
Yes, your most recent previous survey is included. Elevate uses it as a comparison, so you can see how your results have changed since your last survey.
We are looking at adding results from earlier years in the future. In the meantime, you can still find results from all your previous surveys in WIT.
Can I still use WIT?
Yes, WIT is not being retired in the immediate future. However, we recommend using Elevate on its own, so your teams are not switching between two different platforms.
Most of the features you used in WIT are now in Elevate, just in a different place. If you cannot find something, contact our Support team and we will help you find it.
