What Is Elevate?

Elevate is the new home for your Best Companies survey results. It brings all of your company insights into one simple platform, so HR teams, senior leaders and people managers can understand what their people are saying and take action together.

Good to know: Elevate is included in your existing plan at no extra cost if you are subscribed to the Workplace Insight or People Leader Insight Package. You do not need to buy anything new.

What is in Elevate

Elevate brings your insight together in one place. Depending on your plan, you will have access to:

  • Engagement Measure: your b-Heard survey and Best Companies Index (BCI) score, helping you track progress and benchmark performance over time.
  • Workplace Insight: organisation and team results presented as clear, guided journeys, with structured action plans to help create real change.
  • People Leader Insight: your People Leadership Index (PLI) score, which highlights strengths and development areas for people managers, with personalised guidance to help them take focused action.

Built on the 1+3 method

If you have worked with us before, the 1+3 approach will feel familiar. Elevate is built around it:

  • Celebrate 1 thing that is already working.
  • Focus on 3 priority areas to improve.
  • Build ownership, clarity and momentum across your teams.

Heatmaps by factor, your remaining factors and job grade data are all included, so you can still dig deeper when you need to within the Guided Discovery feature.

How Elevate guides you

When you log in, you are greeted with a summary of your insights. Click through to see your 1+3: your factor to celebrate and your three opportunity factors. From there, Elevate guides you through three stages:

  1. Understand your results and set the direction. Senior leaders review the Leader Pack in Story Mode and agree priorities.
  2. Engage the wider team. Managers explore their Team Insights in Story Mode and share them with their teams.
  3. Turn ideas into accountability. Teams capture ideas, build action plans and commit to them, then track progress in Elevate.

Key features

  • Dynamic Dashboard: your homepage changes depending on where you are in the survey cycle, so you always see what matters now.
  • Story Mode: a guided, click-through journey of your results, with a narrative read aloud. It feels like a live insight session without needing a consultant in the room.
  • Guided Discovery: heatmaps, factor charts and demographic filters, guided through the 1+3 structure, with the freedom to explore further.
  • AI Narrative Engine and AI Comment Stories: every chart comes with a written and spoken explanation, alongside relevant employee comments.
  • Idea Scratch Pad and Action Planning: capture ideas from team sessions, get AI-generated ideas for a problem you choose, and turn any idea into a structured action plan.
  • Commitment Tracking: commit to a plan with start and end dates, assign tasks to team members and update progress each time you log in.
  • Management Report: compare how each employment group scores across all 8 factors in one table.
  • Coaching Hub: a library of learning and development resources to help managers and leaders act on their results.
  • Simplified Insight Sharing: give managers direct access to their results, or send data packs and reports at the click of a button.
  • Admin Centre: choose how results are shown across your organisation, decide who sees what, and see everyone's commitments.

We are continuing to add features to Elevate, including:

  • Always-on AI Coach: coaching in a side panel throughout the platform, with relevant articles and prompts for next steps.
  • AI action planning facilitation: a guide that walks teams through an action planning session and turns ideas into shared commitments.
  • Meeting coordination: schedule insight sessions and action planning meetings with Outlook, Teams or iCal invites from inside the platform.
  • Progress Visibility: track progress by department, team and manager, so everyone can see who has reviewed their data, shared insights and moved forward on their action plan.

  • Your BCI score and company accreditation.
  • The same data packs and action planning packs.
  • Organisation and team BCI scores and insights.

How do I get access?

You will receive an email invitation when your organisation's HR or project management team releases access to you. You then log in at elevate.b.co.uk using your existing b.co.uk password.
