Within MC³, a manager will receive their overall MC³ score which drives their status of either ‘Not Accredited’, ‘Ones To Watch (OTW) accolade’, or ‘1,2,3 Star accredited’.

Whilst a manager’s MC³ score displays their levels of overall Managerial Engagement, within MC³ itself each element and sub-element can sit at different threshold ratings, for example a manager could be an overall 2 star manager, but they operate for the element Motivating at a 1 star level.
MC³ scores are derived from the responses to a set of statements. Only the responses from a manager’s direct reports are used to generate their score. To help preserve the anonymity of respondents, a minimum of three responses are required before resulting data is visible to a manager.
An MC³ score is generated from the mean element scores. Element scores are generated from the mean of their related sub-elements and sub-element scores are generated from the mean of their related survey statements.
