How Do I Assign WIT Access To Myself And My Colleagues?

Once you receive confirmation from us that your latest survey data is available within the Workplace Insight Tool, here is how you can roll out access this data. 

Regardless of whether you have had access to the tool in the past, you will need to create a new user account for the latest data set.

In order to complete this task you will need to have been assigned Project Manager access to your organisation's survey setup dashboard

Creating user access for overall company data

You can create an account for overall company data for yourself, or your colleagues by logging in to your survey set-up dashboard and heading to your Insights dashboard. Your Insights dashboard can be found on the home screen when logging across the top (as pictured below).

You are also able to access via the ‘Manage your Workplace Insight user access’ task in the Manage Survey page, for the most recent complete survey.

From your Insights dashboard, you need to locate the ‘Workplace Insight’ box. Within this box, you will see ‘WIT Users’. Simply click on WIT Users, from where you will be able to assign your access to overall company data.

You’ll notice from the above image that you can also book in a demonstration call.  The demonstration will provide you with clarity on how to navigate Workplace Insight if you are not familiar with the tool, or just need a refresher on how to use it.

For overall company access, within WIT Users you will then see the option to manage full WIT access.

Creating user access for Employment Group level data

If you have purchased Workplace Insight Pro, you will also be able to assign access for leaders and managers to review results for their area or teams’ data. We call this ‘Login by Employment Group’.

To provide your managers with this access, you will just need to follow the same steps above to get to your Insights dashboard, where you will be shown a list of your managers. Using the data provided, we have identified based on reporting lines which group they oversee. You can use this to then add their access.

You can change the Employment Group that you want to provide them access to by simply clicking on the Employment Group shown and selecting the correct business area or team from the drop down.

Once you are happy with the access you are about to provide, just click ‘Add’ to the right-hand side for the managers in question.

Finally, you will need to save your changes for them to take effect. At the bottom of the page, we will provide you with a ‘Change summary’, just click on the ‘Update WIT Access’ button for your changes to be saved, as shown below.

Once the above steps are complete, access should now be applied as per the action made.
