Completing your b-Heard Survey is straightforward. This article answers our most frequently asked questions, empowering you to contribute your voice, helping you, your team and organisation to excel, and drive meaningful change.

My colleague has not received their online survey invitation, can I forward mine?  Under no circumstances should you forward your survey invitation to anyone. This could result in your survey being completed by someone else. Your colleague will need to contact your organisation’s Project Manager. If you are unsure who your Project Manager is, then please contact Best Companies at support@b.co.uk.

Who am I referring to when questions ask about the ‘Leader’ of the business?  You can refer to the company definitions as soon as you enter the survey (please see below screenshot).

Who am I referring to when questions ask about ‘Senior Managers’ of the business?  You can refer to the company definitions as soon as you enter the survey (please see below screenshot).

Who am I referring to when questions ask about ‘My Team’?  You can refer to the company definitions as soon as you enter the survey (please see below screenshot). These will differ for every employee depending on your assigned job grade e.g., Team Member, Team Leader etc.

Do I need to answer all the questions/demographics the survey?  We recommend completing all of the survey however, if you feel particularly unable or uncomfortable in answering a statement or question, then you can scroll past.

What shall I write in the free box questions?  We advise all employees to provide constructive and thought-out feedback back to the business and to remove any emotion behind answers to avoid exposing yourself. Please avoid referring to any specific individual experiences which might identify you as an individual and mentioning any names.

Why doesn’t my email link work?  Please make sure that you are completing the individual survey link sent to you directly by Best Companies and don’t press/complete a link that has been forwarded to you by another colleague. If you still continue to have issues, please contact Best Companies via concerns@b.co.uk.

How can I replace my survey?  We are unable to unlock completed online surveys, the only alternative would be for us to make your original survey inactive and send you another one for completion.  If you would like us to do this, you can contact us on 01978 856222, or click the 'Get in Touch' button at the top of this page.  

Unfortunately, if you have completed and returned a paper survey, there is no way we can make changes to it. 

Why are questions phrased negatively?  This is to ensure that we capture true and honest feedback and ensuring that employees are reading the survey thoroughly.

I don’t want to complete the survey, how can I be removed from the survey distribution list? As you are on your organisation’s payroll, you have been included in their survey distribution list and therefore we are unable to remove you. The survey is not compulsory, however, so if you do not wish to complete yours, please ignore any correspondence that is sent from our system.  We do not provide the ability to track individual responses, so at no time will your organisation see if you have completed your survey or not.
