About your company
This is where you can provide details about your organisation and what you do. We'll use this information to populate your organisation profile on the Best Companies website and app, and it may be used for PR and media opportunities.
Any information you may amend after this has been shared may not be reflected in your profile. It is important that this information is accurate and we recommend that it is signed off at a senior level.
To begin, select the About your company task and click Start task.
The first thing you will see is a welcome/getting started page. This lists some key points to be aware of, including what we will use the information for. Once your ready to start you can click any of the sections on the left.
Some sections are dependant on your setup and whether you have opted into accreditation. As a result you may not have to complete all of these sections.
Company Information
Basic information about your company including your company name and what you do.
PR & Advertising
Here you can describe your company as you would to someone who wishes to learn more about your organisation, and provide contact details for things like recruitment and media opportunities.
Ownership & Performance
Provide profit, revenue and ownership details for your company.
Site Locations
Here you can provide your site locations, including your Head Office. These are used to set an employee's workplace location when you provide employee data, so please ensure you include all locations including those outside the UK (if applicable).
You can add locations by clicking the + button and entering the relevant information. You can also download a template that can be used to bulk upload locations, by using the "Download template" and "Upload" buttons respectively.

Job Grades
Define the levels assigned to positions within your company here. You can choose our standard job grades, or create your own custom grades (up to 15).

Job Roles
Define what your employees do within the company here. You can choose our standard job roles or create up to 25 custom roles. You may also choose to omit job roles entirely.
Leadership Definitions
Define the 'Leader' and "Senior Management' in your organisation. These are used in your employee survey to confirm who we mean when asking certain questions (for example, "Senior managers of this organisation do a lot of telling but not much listening").
